Through our syndication network, Watershed provides news, lifestyle, travel and commentary features to print and online media outlets. Our specialty is news about our changing planet, culture and the economy in British Columbia, Canada and the world.
Watershed supports itself by securing online sponsorships; media consulting and strategic planning agreements; web design and marketing agreements; and by providing freelance services and complete media productions.
Much of what we do involves research. Watershed has a research and development department that works with a variety of strategic planners and consulting agencies which support new sustainable community development efforts that promote stewardship in rural areas.
